Quote of the week: -

Don’t Let Yesterday Take Up Too Much Of Today.” -Will Rogers

SMIlE.. It's Friday!!

Fall 2017!! It was the first week of the classes even though, it didn't feel like the first week as I was around with my lovely family in Student Life.

I begin my work by working at the Solar Eclipse event which is a great start for this position. During the solar eclipse, the moon passed in front of the sun, casting its shadow across all of North America. It happened in the United States after 38 years which is amazing. Therefore, everyone including staff/faculty and students were eagerly waiting to see the eclipse. I see a lot of similar faces from the orientation. I was honored to welcome to their first event in the campus. It was surprising to see how comfortable they were in order to reach out to me, and for asking questions. Finally, we all saw the eclipse in the awe because it was stunning. It was unique and memorable.

Course Work

I learned all about the overview of my each class. In my Business Analytics class, I learned about frequency distribution. It is a tabular summary of data showing the number of observations in each of several non-overlapping categories or classes. Also, I learned how to construct a frequency distribution on Microsoft Excel which was very interesting. I am super excited to learn more about Excel because I will be using it every day in my future career.
