Friday has arrived!!
Week 3 was really slow for me, until the last day of the weekday. Friday was a really busy, and long day. Although, I can't complain becasue I learned a lot in my meetings, and I met with bunch of student ambassadors of the Big College Event.
So, my first meeting was with Shaine who is one of the ambasador interns. It was more like me asking questions about the event which I am planning as an event manager. I discovered a lot of new things which will be very useful for a successful event including about my budget, donations, and how to assign duties in my team. I am super glad as I am moving forward, and little nervous at the same time whether people would come or not in the event. (FINGERS CROSSED) !!!
My second meeting was about the Big College Event. They mentioned that, "It's not a career fair, It's a life fair" which is absolutely right. They will have four corners to connect with people, internships, future careers, and their home Cincinnati. This event will take place in Duke Energy Center on October 19th. I am one of the student ambassador for this event. I am grateful to have a chance to gain valuable experience, and to be a part of this wonderful team. As an ambassador for this event, I will assist in marketing the event on my campus, and on the actually day of the event. Overall, I am really excited about this opportunity.
