I can't change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination.- Jimmy Dean

Sending out some FRIDAY love.....

My first Open House was a blast. Before coming to America, I never heard a term for an open house in colleges. I was super confused that what are our (ambassadors) role in the open house until Julie (ambassador intern) explained our roles in the meeting. I was working with Ludwing (my peer ambassador) to direct people with the green tickets to their designed room. In the beginning, it was a little chaotic, as it was a first open house for all the ambassadors. Although, before I realize, everyone was settled in their role, and were greeting the guests warmly. I can proudly say that all of our prospective students and their friends and families were satisfied by our open house. Additionally, I was feeling super proud to talk about my college (UC Blue Ash) to our guest, and why UCBA is the best place to be.

Moreover, I thought it was going to be a long and tiring night, but with my full ambassador team, time just flew by.......

Coursework

In my Business Analytics class, I learned how to use the tree diagram to find the sample space for the multiple-step experiments. In my book, the definition of tree diagram is a graphical represenation that helps in visualizing a multi-step experiment.

We also learned about the second and third counting rule which are Combinations and Pemutations. In combinations, the order of selection is not important, whereas in permutstaion, the order of selection is important.
